Dont you want to save that for someone you care about? sex is so emotional you will need someone who can stick by you after the "deed" is done. you should wait.
As far as I am concerned, the only reason we're on this planet is to reproduce and ensure the evolutionary acquired supremacy of the human race.
I am not spiritual or religious and don't believe sex is 'magical' etc. It can be as emotional or as flat as is capable from the people engaging in it.
This is because one thing we humans have is VARIATION.
Too many long words? Read a dictionary.
As for my view... I think it's a case that we're bombarded with messages from our age groups, friends who perpetuate these ideals that are fuelled by the media always sharing these same ideals...
Most of us listen to these messages.
I won't moan and say they're wrong. They're annoying though, because if you're not a naturally cocky or confident person, by the time you realise your shyness isn't getting you laid, you're at the age where making changes is more difficult because you're more given to self analysis and the whole spectrum of feelings that see you feeling like a loser for having gotten to the stage you are.
It's only natural because we tell ourselves it's natural.
You know what else is natural: free will.
It's hard as hell, but try not to listen to these messages and engage in life at your own pace.
That shows more innner strength on your behalf, when you're ready to change yourself so that you can convince one of the 'pretty sheep' to lay with you, do it at your own pace... Otherwise, hope like hell you meet someone who doesn't place so much F**KING emphasis on sex and helps you 'get over it' at a preferred shared pace.
Human personality is variated, so is decision making. Don't follow the herd.
IN CONCLUSION THEN!
- it feels natural to want to lose it straight away because:
- the media perpetuating the message that it's better to lose it young.
- people listen to these messages and spread them around their cultures.
- they circulate and never go away.
THUS:
Listen and cave in or do what suits you best. Either way, it's not going to go away and you'll never stop thinking about it.
Bottom line is, is that it's more helpful not to see losing your virginity as a god damn race.
