Does hair get in the way?

I'm moving out of my parents house, and will probably lose my viginity some time this summer.

For those who have been there before, could you tell me if it will go smoother if I shave or wax my privates?

A friend of mine had hers done and says they call a hairless pussy a "virgin smoothie" Why is that; are virgins not supposed to have pubic hair?

I'm ready to take it all off, if that is the right thing to do. Please advise!!!

Virgins have public hair just like any one else. I think the term "virgin smoothie" is used because very young girls or prepubesent girl are hair free and usually virgins.
