If you are comfortable with your decision, then I don't think you have to love someone to have sex with them. Love makes sex soo much better, but it's not necessary. As long as you use protection, and aren't being pressured into anything, then it's okay.

Just make sure you know what you're doing. Sex is a big deal. There is always an emotional connection. It may be hard to walk away from that if you're just having casual sex. Also, you could get pregnant or get an STD. Don't do something you're going to regret.

This is not a matter of love. I would not give away my virginity, that precious and irrecoverable moment, for something so base and shallow. If you were not a virgin, my advice might be different.
He wants to use you. If you are the kind of person that uses people, I would say it might be appropriate to use him back.
However with your virginity on the line, you do a great disservice, not only to yourself, to trade this precious golden moment for a pile of trash of equal weight, but to deny your future husband of that gift. I would not sleep with someone I do not trust enough to marry, and if I trust them enough to marry... why not handle that first?
Love is an art, in both the physical and mental aspects. To accept one without the other is the greatest insult one can make. To hold both in tandem, tightly clasped as the lovers they represent, is the greatest compliment.
