not able to travel

hello. Just wondering about this and if anyone would like to respond.

I know that to get a fiance visa for a foreign woman to come to USA the man must travel to her country and meet her there.

Are there any exceptions? I am not able to travel at this time due to unfortunate circumstances.
Would it still be possible for a woman to get a fiance visa? Or would she have to get a tourist visa?

If she gets a tourist visa and we choose to marry, would she be able to stay in USA?

What is the best thing I can do?

Make time

Hello, It less than 1% chance she can get a tourist visa. And if she did get a visa she would not be able to get married and be able to stay. The INS looks very negatively about women doing this. Also the Consulate will only grant her visa for 30 days. When she enters the country they will tell her the visa is good for 6 months. But when she goes back to the embassy in the future and they see she stayed longer than 30 days she will not ever get a visa again if she stayed past the 30 days they granted her. This is a big trick. I have seen this happen to several people in the past year. The US embassy expects that she stay only the time they give.

You need to try and set your priorities. The reason most people works is to have the money and time to enjoy life. If you cannot get a week to visit a woman you are going to have a hard time keeping any one. It just will not work out if you cannot make time for your family.

NO matter what you do, DO NOT SEND MONEYTO HER! No sincere women will ask for money. One BIG scam is that woman says she has a contact and can get a visa, this is a LIE!

Hope this Helps,

Ken

not able

Thanks for the reply Ken. You confirmed what I thought would be true.
It's kinda funny how the government is so strict and slow at the front door while our backdoor to illegal aliens is wide open.
Millions of Mexicans can come here illegally, lay low, get benefits, start families and apparently stay here while the government looks the other way.

...hmm, now that's an idea haha! It's just not right.

NOPE

I feel your pain my brother, I said the same thing about people coming in the wrong way. First she will not get a tourist visa, you can forget that. If she did she could not marry you in the u.s. anyway. The f. visa is the only way, and yes they want to make sure you came there and met her. Look at their view on this, your getting married to a lady you never met, outside of maybe online? that's a little out there don't you think? If your not able to travel to met her right now then you should wait until you can. go there and spend some time with her and met her family. These girls know how to write a man and tell you just what you want to hear while she is spending time with her boyfriend the rest of the time. If your thinking about going around the law to bring her in, good luck with that, just be sure to tell the judge love made you do it.

and again DON'T SEND MONEY...

Agreed

Yes, the first rule is to never send money. There are far to many scammers out there who are more than willing to exploit genuine people who are looking for love.
