Young One's
I have been getting alot on contacts from ladies age 20- 25 years old. I do not understand why, I am 48 years old and a world and generation apart. Most of these contact come from services that want you to buy the address or pay for each e-mail. I would like to find a service that would help me find the love of my life and help bridge the Cultural gap.
Would it be rude to state that the person needs to know some english to help us communicate ? thanks for the help TOM

Hi Tom,
I use numerous sites in my search. I also was very specific in my bio about age and not wanting more children but the young "girls" still kept writing to me! I just ignored them. I ultimately found my fiance` on russianladies.com. They have a decent search engine and an inexpensive monthly subscription. You do have to be careful about its sister site, which you are also enrolled in when you join russian ladies, because they charge by the address due to translation services. Most of the women on russian ladies have a grip on the english language which is nice. It's still a crude grip but a grip none the less. As far as the cultural gap is concerned, there is one but not a much as you are led to think by many of the articals that you read. Find a nice woman and just chat with her. You will make some blunders and she will be taken aback by some things that you say. If this happens just explain to her that it is common place in our society and for the most part they will accept your explanation and or may even appologize! I remember whe I first asked Julia to send me all the receipts that had anything to do with her coming here.LOL She thought I did not trust her, but when I explained that it was for tax purposes she apologized for not understanding the differences in our financial outlooks. It is not easy to acclimate a russian woman to our society but with time and patience, it happens. They are very intelligent people but they do things a bit different than we do.
Good Luck,
Paul

Warning
A warning about agencies that send emails from young ladies to you and you have to pay to read them or reply to them.
If you get a lot of these letters generally these come from boiler room operations overseas. The overseas affiliates get paid from the agencies for ever letter you open. Most of these letters are written by staff. I have seen guys send dozen of letters to girls back and forth. then the guy meets the girl through a different agency just to find out she never wrote him one letter nor did she ever see one of his. I have see this hundreds off times. This is the big scam now going on. The big clue to these scam are agencies that do not let you exchange contact information like email or phone numbers. If a women will not give you her direct email or phone number right up front then most likely an agency is writing you fraudulent letters. Don't let love make you blind these are scam agency preying on guys who relay hope these girls are writing them.
Only use agencies that give you direct contact with women, the other ones are just scramming you. IF you think you have been scammed like this then please call the attorney general office in the state the agencies is located. Stevens

How Dating Services work!
The truth is that every Dating Service (marriage Agency) in Russian Women Dating Industry tries to make some money. I am interested - why anyone can think that he can get unique service for free? When any dating service offers something for free (your profile listing, first letter translation or something else) - it means that they try to sure you that the service and women are real, and that's all.
Certainly, agencies "that do not let you exchange contact information like email or phone numbers" are scam agencies in most cases. There are some Russian women, who do not have email and phone, it's normal for ladies' profiles listed at Local Agencies web-sites, but in this case agency can organize conference phone talk with her (you, translator, if needed, and a lady). Usually agency makes agreement with man and woman about time, lady comes into the office, man calls to office and lady and interpreter talk with him using parallel phones in the office.
Definitely, agency will never give you contact information or let you to contact woman directly if you are not a member of its service, (if you didn't pay any money).
Some words about fraudulent letters, for example, there is "free first letters" term – in some cases some agencies (dating services) offer you to send free first letter(s) to women and get reply/replies from them. Imagine, man wrote some letters and got some replies – Dating Service staff expects that he is interested in their translation service and contact details of women, who answered him… But, in many cases man decides not to pay. So many agencies come to a decision to change this situation and reply to "free" letters with letters that was written by women in advance, called "standard letters" in Russian. If man decides to continue correspondence, then he starts real correspondence. Without doubt it's not a good practice - fraud, but what you expect to get for free?
Some more about first letters, take a look – single Russian woman, who decided to find her happiness abroad. She made first steps and her data appears somewhere in the WEB, she started to get letters. She liked one and sent reply with detailed answers to man's questions… But… man disappeared. After this crash woman attach significance to first letters no more and start to answer in two lines – something like - "Hello. Thank you for your letter. Please, write more details about yourself." So – first letters are first letters – it's just one more way to say hello.
My advice for men – basic information you should write in your first letter to Russian woman – Your name; Your age; Where are you from; Why exactly did you choose her to write this letter; That you have serious intentions toward her (you will marry her if she will answer you :); Personal question(s) to this woman. Also add photo to your letter, if it is possible. If you got reply to this letter, you can see if it is real respond to your letter with no trouble.
About "A warning about agencies that send emails from young ladies to you and you have to pay to read them or reply to them." It is marketing - it's hard for typical man to write letter to unknown woman from another country. Many men don't know what to start with. Easier to answer to lady's letter, so agencies are trying to use this, offering free listing in Gentlemen Catalog and sending letters from women to you. Naturally, it is fraud if these letters are "standard letters" or written by dating service managers. The purpose of these letters is to move man to start correspondence via this Dating Service.
My advice to men - read letters attentively, look if there is any information in a letter addressed personally to you or as response to your free ad. In most cases this will be enough to understand that this letter was really written by Russian woman interested in you.
