Where are all the virgins?

Growing up as a young man I was taught to conquest as many women as possible, not knowing much else I took this advice whole heartedly. I started having sex as at the at the age of 15, with an girl about 17 years old after that I started on a sexual campaign with lasted about 8 years till I turned at age 23. I was disrespecting my self and those women I laid, I realized that my lust would never be satisfied, so I changed my way of thinking a sought to fulfill a need of my heart rather then my penis. Since that time I’ve gained a greater appreciation for myself, women, and the act of sex; I now see sex as a form of expression between two people that cultivates love and inner peace instead as before a simply joy ride or frustration relief.

These days it’s funny how the idea of virginity has become taboo…young people are afraid to reveal their inexperience because it makes them seem childish. It’s really a shame that Whores are up held with respect but virgins are looked down upon. Why do we continue to send the message to our children that promiscuous acts are a rite of passage to adulthood? Much pressure is placed on children to be increasingly sexual through the media; music, TV, internet, and cinema not to mention in the community, it’s very hard to hide them for it. I believe and hope others feel the same way that Virgins should be just as proud and vocal as whores and freaks. If the idea of virginity is upheld with honor I think many of the dysfunction faces the Black Male & Female Relationship would be resolved and vanish.

I see the major reason for state of the black nation is the lack of self-worth being taught to children, that lack of self-worth is clearly evident in the ways we treat and use our own as well each others bodies.
