yeah im one...*weeps* i just have a hard time saying hello...ahh screw it people just dont like me...every day what makes me who i am slowly dwindels away. i think waiting too long is a bad thing and the fear of rejection also is a barrier for me. "why start a relationship if all she is going to say is no" so now that i have a place to talk about these issues my heart feels a bit lighter and less of a burden. thanks.

Why do you feel like your virginity defines you so much? Could it be another problem? It sounds to me like you have a really low self esteem and hardly any confidence. That might be what girls are sensing so they dont want to get involved with you.
Most girls really respect the fact that a guy can wait for sex, it shows they have self control and are thoughtful.

I don't blame him for being upset, clearly ur not a virgin because you don't know what it feels like to have all ur freinds telling you of their sex adventures when you feel like an outsider because you have never had sex. Of course after a certain point you feel like you just want to sleep with someone so you feel included but you can't because were still hopefull that the right peson will come along and make us happy. Well thats my opinion but low self estem has nothing to do with it. Its just not fair us to have to wait for the right person when other people get to have sex whenever they want just because they are more free with their bodies. Being a 19 year old virgin sucks, trust i know i am one and its not because i am ugly or choose to be i am just stuck waiting because quick flings will hurt more in the long run. I know you know all this but it helps to hear from some one else. The right time will come its just the waiting thats a bitch.

haven't you read the posts around here??? alot of ppl are 19 or even older virgins! i don't know why ppl take it as a bad thing because i think for a guy to be a virgin takes alot out of them! and you know, i use to be like you. i hated guys and don't trust them. but whenever i ended up in a relationship, i never stay longer than 3 months. but now i found someone and i stayed with him for over a year now and still going strong! i know there's someone out there for you too! you just have to give yourself more confident. its hard to find someone that likes you if you don't even like yourself! so give people the benefit of the doubt! and experience life with open arms!

I'm 19 and a virgin too so don't feel bad. I'm scared of rejection by guys too. In a way what's the big deal about sex? It's soo overrated. But at the same time I want to be touched and loved with out the fear of him leaving me the next morning and never seeing him again.

I am also a 19 year old virgin. It does suck hearing about my friend having sex with his girlfriend all the time, and as much as that sucks its not the end of the world. What worries me the most is actually trying to find another virgin girl, because I feel like it will be so much better if we are both in experienced.
